Passionate, talented singers are invited to join us!
We regard ourselves as an artistically disciplined, energetic group with a positive rehearsal atmosphere, combined with a high level of camaraderie. The journey of rehearsing is as important and fulfilling to us as the destination of performing.
At this time, we are engaged in a special, virtual recording project that is dear to us and sure to delight our audience. The program features a variety of offerings, from early choral works of 16th-century composer Monteverdi to the more contemporary Ešenvalds of the 20th century.
Although small groups of us are diligently involved with bringing the recording project to fruition, during the pandemic, the whole group is still meeting virtually, weekly, enjoying fellowship and community centered around our daily lives, shared passion for music and other topics of mutual interest.
Our normal season extends from the first Monday after Labor Day in September, when rehearsals begin, to the first Sunday in June, which is our final performance. Historically, we have given two programs every season – a Winter Concert and a Spring Concert - allowing us the rehearsal time to feel completely comfortable with the repertoire.
We are meeting virtually indefinitely; however, rehearsals are traditionally held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Laguna Beach on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. We begin practicing for our Spring Concert in February and for our Winter Concert in September.
